Information we collect
When you use the contact form, we may receive your name, firm or company, email address, case stage, NDA preference, and the neutral case summary you choose to provide. We ask that you do not submit unpublished client-identifying documents through the public form.
How we use inquiry information
We use inquiry information to review whether a matter may fit our technical and prosecution-strategy support, conduct preliminary conflict and scope screening, reply to your inquiry, and arrange NDA, secure document exchange, or a call where appropriate.
What not to send through the public form
A first inquiry should remain neutral and redacted: patent office, technology field, prosecution stage, deadline, core rejection issue, independent-claim context, and cited prior art are usually enough for an initial scope check. Full file histories, unpublished client documents, and client-identifying materials should wait until confidentiality arrangements and conflict clearance are in place.
Sharing and cross-border processing
Website inquiries may be reviewed by Fixer IP personnel and related China-side patent prosecution support personnel for the limited purposes described above. Because our work involves China-side patent prosecution experience and international peer-firm cooperation, inquiry information may be processed across jurisdictions where necessary for intake review and communication.
Retention
We keep inquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary for intake review, conflict screening, communication, record keeping, and business-development follow-up. If a matter does not proceed, you may ask us to delete or correct your inquiry information.
No sale of personal information
We do not sell personal information submitted through this website. We also do not use the public website form for advertising profiling. If we later add analytics or anti-spam tools, we will update this notice accordingly.
Deletion or correction requests
To request deletion or correction of inquiry information, contact us through the website form or at inquiry@fixer-ip.com, and identify the email address used in the original inquiry. We may need to retain limited records where required for conflict screening, legal compliance, or legitimate business record purposes.
Relationship with the legal notice
This privacy notice explains website data handling. It does not create an engagement, confidentiality agreement, attorney-client relationship, or legal advice. Please also review the Legal Notice before submitting a matter.
